Restoring Juvenile Prisoners

1–2 minutes

Job Poka’s Story

Mustard Seed Global is committed to transforming the lives of juvenile prisoners, providing them with genuine opportunities for a better future.

The ministry offers support, education, and rehabilitation to young individuals like Job Poka through their innovative program.

Through a youth traineeship facilitating an alternative pathway to rehabilitation, Mustard Seed Global seeks to break the cycle of crime and help young people reintegrate into society and lead fulfilling lives. The holistic approach of the traineeship combines counselling, skill development, and personal development to address the underlying causes of crime and to help young people earn a livelihood and to restore hope, dignity, and purpose in their lives.

The traineeship leads young people toward opportunities for entry-level jobs, vocational training, or starting micro-enterprise businesses.

Some young people will be selected for the personal development and educational opportunities offered by a Leadership Institute geared to raising the next generation of PNG leaders with skill and integrity.

Many lives and futures are at stake and we need your support to take the opportunities at Kerevat Jail.
