Bush Angels uses portable ultrasound equipment for primary healthcare (for example examining pregnant women, or lungs) and to guide fine needle aspirations or core biopsies from lumps in the body to test for cancer. Cancer is a big issue in PNG because people present to the hospital too late for effective treatment. This gift provides one year of ultrasound gel to keep our ultrasounds working to save lives.
